The Hoboken Democratic Committee (“HDC”) are comprised of 80 Hoboken residents who are elected every two years in June to represent each of the 6 wards and 40 voting districts. Each district in each ward is represented by two members of the HDC (one female, one male). Each member of the HDC forges personal relationships with members of their community, champions the interests of their neighbors, and coordinates campaign activities for local and regional candidates
